- I have just bought FinalCalc.
- FinalCalc program ID: No 01561.
-
- After trying the program for a few days I have some sugestion about it.
- (I'm used to Lotus 123 V5).
-
- The colorhandling need to be improved. Even on a custom screen I find it not
- possible to change the color at will exept for fontcolor and backgroundcolor.
- It's seems impossible to change other than the four first colors in the
- palette even if the palette have 16 colors. I would like to change the color
- for the inverse marker and the text inside the inverse marker to whatever I
- want.
-
- Upgrading the userinterface to FinalWriter4 style, and start using
- outlinefonts also for the screenfonts.
- The closest I get to WYSIWYG now is to use FWscrfont for screenfonts and
- Softsans as an outline font. By using FWscrfonts the appearance of FC
- are improved by 200%.
-
- The possibility to paste cell content witout changing the cellpointers in
- formulas ie. copy with the $ set on all pointers.
- I't can be done with f.eks. copy A7, move A7 to A12, paste to A7.
- I know I can put this procedure in a user menu, but it would be nice to have
- it under the paste command.
-
- Implementing of to new function,
-
- VILOOK : Vertical Interpolate Lookup
- HILOOK : Horisontal Interpolate Lookup

- 1 7 40
- VILOOK 2 8 49
- 3 9 57
- 4 10 64

- 6 8.4 =VILOOK(A6,A1:B4,1) -----> 52.2

-
- Linear interpolation, and if possible, spline interpolation.
-
- The possibillity to center text in a range.
-
- Implementing of the FW drawing and text tools.
-
-
- I hope I will see some of the above changes in futere upgrades from SoftWood.
-
- FinalCalc has a lot of power underneat but lack the finesse and
- ease FinalWriter4 have in producing goodlooking documents.
